Position: SAP Payroll ABAP Developer (Senior)

Contract duration: 12 months

Working time: Mon to Fri. 9am - 6pm VNT

Location: Remote working, based in Viet Nam

English requirement: Fluent, working directly with the client-side engineering team

About the Role

We're looking for a senior SAP ABAP Developer with deep Payroll expertise to join an ongoing engagement for our Australian end client. You'll work remotely in Vietnam time zone, collaborating directly with the client's technical and functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Payroll objects: schemas, PCRs, wage types, function modules, reports, interfaces

• Support and enhance SAP Payroll (PY) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP)

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing payroll programs

• Work directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of SAP ABAP experience

• 5+ years hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (PY) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP)

• Strong expertise in Payroll-related ABAP development

• Excellent English communication skills

• Must currently be based in Vietnam

Nice to Have

• Experience with offshore/outsourcing projects for EU, US, or APAC clients

• SAP certification in HCM, PY, or SuccessFactors/EC

• Experience with EC–ECP integration (CPI)
